On December 10, 2024, Daniel M. Perez Central Elementary School hosted a benchmarking activity for the Alternative Learning System-Special Needs Education (ALS-SNED) program, organized by the Eastern Visayas Region. Led by Mr. Betelino V. Amigo, the delegation included school heads, ALS teachers, and coordinators, and was joined by Mrs. Crestita C. Bation from the Davao Region. The event focused on the school’s best practices in teaching vocational and livelihood skills to learners with special educational needs (LSENs), showcasing tailored instructional materials and a supportive learning environment. The activity promoted collaboration, shared insights, and reinforced the school’s commitment to empowering LSENs through inclusive education.
