BSP IN ACTION | 18th NATIONAL Scout Jamboree


In the heart of Passi, Iloilo City, the Daniel M. Perez Central Elementary School embarked on an extraordinary journey as they enthusiastically participated in the 18th National Scout Jamboree of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. The week-long event, held from December 11 to 17, 2023, provided a unique platform for the young scouts to embrace the theme "Youth Engagement: Sustaining Relevance and Strengthening Resilience."


Under the vast open skies and amidst the lush greenery, the scouts from Daniel M. Perez Central Elementary School joined their fellow scouts from different corners of the country. The air buzzed with excitement as they engaged in a myriad of activities designed to foster camaraderie, leadership, and a deep appreciation for nature.


Throughout the jamboree, the scouts from Daniel M. Perez Central Elementary School actively participated in various skill-building workshops, team-building exercises, and outdoor adventures. From mastering essential survival skills to showcasing their creativity in campsite decorations, the scouts demonstrated not only their commitment to scouting values but also their resilience and resourcefulness.


The highlight of the event was the grand campfire, where the spirit of unity and friendship illuminated the night. Scouts from different schools shared stories, songs, and cultural performances, creating an atmosphere of celebration and mutual understanding.


As the 18th National Scout Jamboree concluded, the scouts of Daniel M. Perez Central Elementary School returned home not only with memories of thrilling adventures but also with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of the importance of scouting principles.
