DMPCES Shines at Davao Region Athlete Association Meet 2024


Davao City played host to an exhilarating display of athletic prowess during the Davao Region Athlete Association Meet held from April 1 to April 7, 2024. Among the standout performers were the athletes from Daniel M. Perez Central Elementary School, whose remarkable achievements brought pride and honor to their school and community.


In the Paragames Athletics Category, the athletes from Daniel M. Perez Central Elementary School showcased their talents with outstanding performances across various events.


Jaime Lada exhibited exceptional speed and teamwork, clinching the Bronze Medal in the 4x100m Relay event. Lada's contribution was instrumental in the team's success, highlighting his dedication and skill on the track.


Rhianne Mae Mejorada emerged as a dominant force in sprinting, securing Gold Medals in the 100m, 200m, and 400m Dash events. Mejorada's impressive feat of winning all three sprinting events showcased her unmatched speed and determination. Additionally, she also contributed to the Silver Medal in the 4x100m Relay, further solidifying her status as a top athlete.


Angel Mae Neser demonstrated her versatility and prowess by earning the Bronze Medal in the 100m Dash, Silver Medals in the 200m Dash and 4x100m Relay events. Neser's consistent performance across multiple events underscored her strength and skill as an athlete.


Xyriel Mae Ekid showcased her speed and teamwork, contributing to the team's success with a Bronze Medal in the 4x100m Relay event. Ekid's performance was crucial in ensuring the team's strong finish in the relay event.


Araniel Mae Marzan showcased her agility and jumping prowess, securing the Gold Medal in the Running Long Jump event and adding a Silver Medal in the 4x100m Relay to her impressive tally. Marzan's remarkable performance in the long jump event highlighted her athleticism and determination.


Alyannah Keiziah Marie Sarmiento displayed her versatility and strength in multiple events, earning the Silver Medal in the 100m Dash, Gold Medal in the Long Jump, and Bronze Medal in the Shot Put event. Sarmiento's impressive performance across different disciplines showcased her as a well-rounded athlete.


Jessie Ryne Matutud showcased his speed and jumping abilities, securing the Silver Medal in the 100m Dash, Gold Medal in the Long Jump, and Silver Medal in the Shot-Put event. Matutud's consistent performance across different events highlighted his athleticism and skill.


Behind the remarkable achievements of these athletes stands the guidance and support of their coaches, Sir Mike Andrew D. Espanol, Ma'am Annaliza Sarabia, and Ma'am Elsa J. Penaranda. Their dedication and expertise played a pivotal role in shaping the athletes' skills and nurturing their talents.


Furthermore, it is with great pride that Sir Mike Andrew D. Espanol and Ma'am Annaliza Sarabia, together with Paragames Athletes Rhianne Mae Mejorada and Araniel Mae Marzan, have qualified for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2024. Their qualification is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent, and they carry the hopes of their school and community as they prepare to compete at the national level.
